It's fascinating to see the changes in one company's logo over the years.
A bunch of microsoft logos from the 70s, 80s, 90s and today but instead of saying Microsoft all of them spell Microslop in the vibe of the original logos.

in a year of a whole lot of stuff im really not sure how i feel about, these are a couple scenes i think i'm actually happy with. Maybe? #kazwrites (director's commentary in the alt)

It took me a while to figure out how i wanted to try and describe blitz's reservations and where he was at, and longer to try and do it in a way that sounded like his voice and not stolas', lmao. i still got my filthy ace hands all over this scene but that's gonna happen with everything i write so no surprise there. and something about blitz boiling this complex series of feelings down to 'im happy' just felt correct. yes it's still mediocre communication but also it's completely honest and true, even if it's not the whole story. angsty scene from ch 6 of Light of Heart. I really wanted to re-do the Full Moon argument, but different? It was important to me to hit the same beats but also add in things unique to my AU to try and make it feel specific to this story, while also giving some extra context for my interpretation of why Stolas made the choices and said the things he did, and I think I did a good job of that. Maybe? There are a lot of things i'm not really satisfied with for this fic, so it's hard to evaluate. I hope the argument hit the way I wanted it to, at least.

I think people should stop commenting things like "wow that's expensive" on stuff that's *handmade* by artists. (Illustrations, clothes, toys, bags, costuming, whatever)

Stop thinking about small artists like big businesses. They are usually just people trying to buy groceries.

I was watching a video about an author who uses AI, and one of the things that stood out to me was how she talked about writing to market and how, as an author, writing what you want takes a backseat to the market when you get "serious" about it, and I vehemently disagree. 🧵
