Chris Collinsworth announcing his 500th NFL game and still needs notes. First said a player was "only" making $1 mil. Oops. Then he and Mike Tirico on how the coaches couldn't be more different (Todd Bowles & Sean McVay); he goes on to say McVay is right out of Central Casting, speaks perfectly.

I can’t say my @senangusking.bsky.social caved exactly because he was wrong on this from the start. But him along with @hassan.senate.gov and @shaheen.senate.gov make this Northern New England night feel even bleaker. Shame.

My kids and their friends aren’t sure they can afford to have children, and meanwhile the clip of the mom saying she can’t afford to feed her six without SNAP has me thinking WTF, lady? Not the response I want to feel.

Hey, Mike Johnson, it hasn’t always been known as the Democrat Party. It’s the Democratic Party, you ungrammatical fascist.

Trump pardons a crypto criminal who backed his own meme coin. Stephanie Ruhle asks if this kind of thing make people question the integrity of the White House. Laughed hysterically. And now he’s canceled tariff negotiations with Canada because he’s a bully and a baby.

I called the architect of the ballroom's firm, McCrery Architects, and of course their voicemail is full. James McCrery III is a professor at The Catholic University of American, so I called them and I told them the powerless operator that they should fire him. Won't do anything but I feel better.

Boycott Google (not easy). Boycott YouTube (easier). The money they paid Trump is helping fund his egomaniacal ballroom.

Hello, @senangusking.bsky.social This is what voting with Republicans gets us. They will not only kill the ACA, they will dismantle Medicare Advantage for profit. Why won’t you fight for Maine and the US?
UnitedHealth to exit Medicare Advantage plans in 16 US counties
UnitedHealth said it will stop offering Medicare Advantage plans in 16 U.S. counties in 2026, impacting 180,000 members, as the company balances higher costs with reimbursement pressure in the insurance program.

Sexual favors. First time I’ve seen that as a euphemism for rape and abuse.
Steps away from the Capitol, victims of Jeffrey Epstein, the disgraced financier and sex offender, on Wednesday demanded that all people who received sexual favors through Epstein be identified. www.nytimes.com/2025/09/03/u...

Maybe I just follow good people but no one in my feed has posted anything but sorrow about the tragedy in Texas. But I am seeing a lot of people call out nastiness and it sickens me to think anyone could post something so hateful and inhumane.

I was bringing a pizza to see a friend in an apartment building in Greenwich Village. The elevator overshot the floor and went to the penthouse, where the owner, Richard Gere, had summoned it. The doors opened and he said "pizza!" and smiled and I managed not to faint.
Right folks. Feeling rather down at the moment so bringing back an oldie

ICE is going after California farm workers. I think the long play is they’re saying to middle class folks, AI is taking your jobs. We won’t need immigrants to pick the produce, because YOU will be doing that.

The future was never us making iPhones, it’s us harvesting lettuce.
