If we are listening to The Lancet (July article) it’s likely that over 675,000 (some calculations are more like 1.125 million) Palestinians have been annihilated by Israel & paid for by the US in Gaza. Stop using the official numbers - they do not account for indirect deaths.

Labor's policy to confiscate mobile phones from people in immigration detention centres is spitefully inhumane. Shame on you, Labor. We know not to expect much from you on immigration policy these days but this is positively Morrisonian.

It is true that the sub judice contempt rule needs to be reformed as it is out of step with modern digital reality, however in the meantime the best way to ensure Alan Jones gets a trial at all (let alone a fair one) is to shut up about the criminal charges against him.
