Good day to remember that a US President has no inherent power over tariffs whatsoever. It’s not like war powers or pardons. It’s entirely delegated by Congress to deal with emergencies. GOP Congress cld modify that law tonight and bring this to a screeching halt.

Bryan MacCormack, the executive director of a New York-based immigrant rights group, was pulled over by CBP with two undocumented passengers in the vehicle. He knew his rights, refused to acknowledge their "warrant", and despite CBP threatening him, the agents eventually were forced to let him go.

Every Sunday my Alexa announces it is 5:30pm and time to take the trash out. Except 1) I’ve never set this reminder 2) our trash is picked up on Wednesday mornings. Delightfully when the speaker chimes, every member of the family calls out in unison with her. Regardless of what else we’re doing.
