Went through and put labels on the tops of all my spice bottles and was reminded again that I somehow have 3 bottles of whole cloves and 2 of caraway seeds. The caraway I kind of get - I was into making pumpernickel for a while - but the cloves??

I was worried the cat had peed in the office again, but then I realized he had just splashed so much water out of his dish that he's soaked his paws enough to be tracking it. >.<

The home page for the Catan Universe game has been causing my video card fans to spin up (I think the particles for the fire might be doing it?) which means I can use a virtual fire to heat up my office. >.>

I was going to make ALL the beans/grains today but realized I probably don't have enough freezer containers to do both 2 lbs. of pinto beans and 1.5 lbs. of barley at the same time in reasonable portions. Pinto beans won because their best by date is sooner.

Watching baseball makes me want to play baseball (I never have besides just with cousins) the way John Williams soundtracks make me want to get back into band (which I haven't done since junior high).

Lime Diet Coke isn't quite as good as the ginger lime was, but it's an okay substitute in some situations. I'll probably just keep buying ginger lime seltzer to mix in when I want it, though.
