The sparrows have started doing this in our window feeder, too, and the cat is SO insulted they don't fly away when he pounces at them now.

You can get that already hustling from gate to gate as your departure gets shuffled around - just pick flights that connect through ORD on purpose.

Yep! I'm pretty sure my current coworkers wouldn't poach my food, but I changed my coffee procedure to make it home. (Amazing insulated mugs, too, lol.)

I had a previous boss that would use my clearly labeled coffee creamer, so I'm disinclined to use the shared fridge anyway.

My husband and I have gone to Boston twice for Valentine's Day (to go to Union Oyster House) and o.m.g. frigid. I don't know what we were thinking. One year it was 12! Before the wind chill!

I have - dog - covered it back up and put a fruit tree there so I wouldn't keep accidentally digging it up.

Yeah, I work in ILL in a small academic library - we do send articles out (free) to public libraries for their patrons when they ask, but I know they don't always have the staff to ask.

I don't know if you've got access to a library that will do interlibrary loan for you, but maybe that can help fill the gap.

Yeah, that was my first thought. We never did mac&cheese at holidays (cheese potatoes fill that niche), so I wouldn't miss it in this context, either.

We have a Tile on the cat in case he sneaks out but tbh it gets used more to find the collar when he kicks it off.
