The charges against Don Lemon are ridiculous. He’s a target because he’s black, because he’s media, and because he’s a Trump critic, and because Trump and his minions cannot accept any dissent. It’s deeply pathetic, unamerican, and lawless.

Eight hours after Homan's press conference, my kids' school went into code yellow and were held inside past release time because of ICE vehicles in the area. Maybe they were just looking to abduct children in a more professional, targeted manner, though.

Every once in awhile Aristotle comes up with a banger: "In human life well pretty much a majority of deliberate wrongdoing comes through ambition and love of money." (Politics 1271a17-8). He's writing about the unaccountable council of elders (gerousia) in Sparta.

JD Vance's strategy for succeeding Trump as head of the MAGA movement is predicated on retaining and exciting the support of violent Nazis all around the US. That's what makes his Holocaust commemoration so unique.

After executing Alex Pretti on Saturday, ICE has shifted to primarily targeting bus stops and elementary schools in my community this week. I cannot overstate how much of the ICE activity in my community is just targeting places where little kids are.

Excellent by Adam Serwer.

I’d add: How many pseudo-deep commentators, typically MAGA-excusing, go on about liberalism’s lack of community, character, and moral virtue? Then MN features a truly striking demonstration of just these qualities by modern liberals. Reaction: crickets.
"The secret fear of the morally depraved is that virtue is actually common, and that they’re the ones who are alone."

Getting rid of Miller would be very good for the future of this country and the planet. Maybe all the planets.
Genuinely interesting. Kristi Noem is snitching that Stephen Miller is the one who made up the bullshit about Alex Pretti.

It would be genuinely useful if Congress can get her to admit that he has been dictating ALL OF THIS just like he dictated the murderboats.

Every accusation is a confession. Of *course* Miller would claim that Pretti wanted to massacre agents: Slaughtering one’s political opponents (or at least making such slaughter a credible threat) is why Republicans amass guns at such an alarming rate.
