I’ve been using The Ordinary skincare for years and absolutely love it. BUT I learned this weekend that their new majority owner is a big MAGA guy, donated millions to that campaign, supports Netanyahu, and supports the annexation of Canada. Sooooo… I’m looking for new skincare. Recommendations?

Spent my afternoon basically reading this book cover to cover instead of doing the research I’m actually supposed to be doing…. As a social worker who wants to abolish the police, decolonize the practice, and struggles with the policing nature of traditional social work, this book was so good!

I watched Emilia Perez today. It has won so many awards including best song and best musical, I wanted to see for myself. Holy fuck. That’s one of the worst things I’ve seen in my life. I feel like I need to wash my brain after. Horrible script, trans & Mexican representation. I hated it.

Found out my daughter has a boyfriend. Asked their sibling what they think of him. They said, and I quote: “Well he doesn’t use the N-word, so he’s better than the other boys in our class.”
Not sure what’s more shocking, my 15 y/o has a BF or these very white, privileged, kids using racial slurs!
