An acquaintance keeps asking me "why" Republicans don't value things like youth sports and arts programs, public transportation, etc. and it's getting really annoying.

U.S. Department of Justice recently cut over $800 million in grants nationwide, including $1.5 million for the hoops league and anti-violence program here. Others in Philly are affected, too.

GOOD NEWS! Moderna’s combination COVID/influenza vaccine candidate mRNA-1083 has OUTPERFORMED the current standalone vaccines for BOTH viruses in a large (8000+) Phase III trial. A combination vaccine would make it easier for people to get vaccinated against COVID and influenza at the same time. 🧪🧵⬇️

The bus driver flat out refused to let a man on the bus. Wouldn't open the door for him, he chased the bus for a whole block and he STILL wouldn't let him on.

Lightning bugs are cool obviously, owing to the fact that they have captured lightning in their butts and all, but did you ALSO know that when they look at you, they look like this?

Yesterday we installed a 4th ghost bike for Gerardo Marciales. Each bike has been crashed into *multiple* times. Statistically, it’s just a matter of time before another person is killed at this location.

NEW: TeleMessage, the Signal knockoff used by Mike Waltz and potentially other gov officials to archive group chats in plaintext, has suspended all services after it was hacked *at least twice.* @404media.co reported a hack last night; a different hacker also broke in and gave me evidence.
