This is just stupid.
It definitely feels like one of the major obstacles to reforming spending is that any league tackling it on their own will just lose top players and struggle to compete in recruiting new talent compared to other leagues who aren’t following the same rules
Could you imagine the Premi League having a salary cap? Could even the playing field but that would be by running away the leagues biggest stars!

I get that when it comes down to it these first few weeks will be important to the title race and you can say that every win or loss is a title decider but there’s so much left to play and so many points still on the table
