Any time I participate in a secret Santa type thing online where you're encouraged to connect with your partner(s) on social media I get Crickets. If not for tracking I would have no idea it even arrived. And it's super disappointing. Like do they hate what I sent?! Am I really bad at this?? π

Turns out no one in our group got an email but she was able to find the presale code online. π€¦ββοΈ
I wish we were closer to with how messy that presale was and not getting any emails it's lucky we got tickets at all.

My oxygen levels have not been great tonight. In the 70s standing, 80s sitting, 90s laying down. I'm not sick and didn't do anything strenuous, I went to jury duty (not selected thankfully) then home for a nap. Why does my body hate me?! π

I don't listen to country anymore but sometimes it's all that helps. Like today. I felt ready to implode but unable to cry or breathe or do anything. Except sit in my car and sing my heart out to some great 90s female country.

And I had multiple regulars that I'm going to miss seeing. Yes there were some pets that were difficult or not a great fit but mostly we loved them. π

I've been doing Rover since 2018. A month ago a dog broke out of the crate she was in for her safety while I was gone for 4hrs and managed to hurt herself. It led to me being kicked off the platform. That's 2500/month I need to get by so I'm freaking out. I don't know how I'm going to make it now π

A little over a week ago a cute little cat walked in our back door like he was sure he lived here. He is so sweet and loving but somehow we've had no luck looking for his family (posted multiple places and flyers printed). He might be right about living here now.

If you know anyone near Denver looking for a Super sweet older rescue who found herself needing a new home unexpectedly you should meet Minnie. She gets along great with everyone, including our cats. I don't know much about her history but she's a love bug.

And they trimmed up so nicely today. π₯° I know I just put them on the greenware shelf Today to go into the kiln but I'm already excited to get them back and play with some design ideas.

Pottery time is the best time. Today was my first time throwing with a throwing gauge. They aren't perfectly identical but that's okay. The're sisters not twins. Or quadruplets. They felt good to throw and I think they could make good soup bowls for soup season.

I had to rush my dog, Cinna, to an emergency vet for surgery to remove a mass that migrated between his teeth. He was so scared. Vet said it was the largest oral mass he'd seen. I'm still struggling after being unemployed for a year & started a GoFundMe if anyone is able to help gofund.me/67f9f991

I got a small pottery wheel recently and today was the first time I was able to use it. Look at these little vases I made! The rims are a little uneven but I'm pretty happy with my first attempts.
