A little over a week ago a cute little cat walked in our back door like he was sure he lived here. He is so sweet and loving but somehow we've had no luck looking for his family (posted multiple places and flyers printed). He might be right about living here now.

If you know anyone near Denver looking for a Super sweet older rescue who found herself needing a new home unexpectedly you should meet Minnie. She gets along great with everyone, including our cats. I don't know much about her history but she's a love bug.

Pottery time is the best time. Today was my first time throwing with a throwing gauge. They aren't perfectly identical but that's okay. The're sisters not twins. Or quadruplets. They felt good to throw and I think they could make good soup bowls for soup season.

I had to rush my dog, Cinna, to an emergency vet for surgery to remove a mass that migrated between his teeth. He was so scared. Vet said it was the largest oral mass he'd seen. I'm still struggling after being unemployed for a year & started a GoFundMe if anyone is able to help gofund.me/67f9f991

I got a small pottery wheel recently and today was the first time I was able to use it. Look at these little vases I made! The rims are a little uneven but I'm pretty happy with my first attempts.

I gave away a lot pottery today. I didn't realize I had so much but 26 pieces found new homes. I didn't really expect people to want it but I'm so glad they seemed to like it. I do worry they felt obligated to take stuff or to take more than they wanted but I Hope they're happy with their choices.

My neighbor's new puppy figured out how to climb the wire fence between our yards so that she can come play. Layla is So cute and so sweet. She is so happy to be here that I can't even be upset at how often she submissive pees on my floor. Who could be upset with that crazy happy face??

I made these mugs. They started as lumps of clay and now they're beautiful, functional items. I'm still learning and pieces like these encourage me to keep going.

Feeling pretty good about throwing my first big bowls. I'm looking forward to seeing how they turn out after trimming and glazing. I had a little help getting the first one centered but this one was all me, good or bad. 🤣 #pottery

Just got this mug out of the kiln yesterday and it makes me think of melted marshmallows over chocolate. Just look at that Drip. 🤩 Pottery has been so good for me and I'm feeling pretty proud of this piece.

I sneezed and my cat mrr'd back from somewhere else in the house. Anytime they sneeze I say something so when I sneeze they say something too. Cats are the best.

Cats are the best. I was cat sitting for Christmas and All this sweet girl wanted to do was face plant on my face and purr or lay on my face. I wasn't mad about it at all. My cat is also very loving and in my face about it.

Someone at the pottery studio was trying new clay and loving it so she offered one of her clay balls for me to try. She was throwing tiny so I got to try throwing tiny for the first time too. I kind of love my little vase. My daughter has already decided that it will hold a dandelion in the spring.

I got into pottery this year and somehow threw an amazing bowl. My bestie loved my last "nice noods" attempt but this one is so much better. She's going to be thrilled when she sees it. Still gotta bisque & glaze it but I'm proud of the progress & wanted to show it off somewhere she wouldn't see.

I'm heartbroken.
A dog I've loved so much that we've called him my boyfriend for 9 years is being put down today. The decision wasn't made lightly & it's for the best but I wish I was able to say goodbye.
Harold was a great dog and he will be loved forever.

We're doing the ghost paintings tonight and we found one that has a poem about retirement. Of course it needed some ghosts, tombstones, and a terrible cartoony grim reaper. It's not like retirement is realistic before we die anyway. 🤣😭

One of the best things I ever did for myself was respond to someone looking for a home for an orphaned little black fluff. He Always demands I cuddle him and let him love me. He is my heart and he saves me from the dark places. ❤️
