As the most privileged of all the demographics on the planet, I am throwing all my weight behind the most vulnerable people on the planet. That's it. That's my plan. If you are willing to sacrifice them and their lives, I am willing to sacrifice you and your issue. Peace out.
68 degrees, huh?
Sure.

Honestly, it wouldn't even be a protracted guillotining spree...
America has 925 billionaires as of this year. Collectively they have a record $6.9 trillion in wealth.

The bottom 50% of Americans control $4.2 trillion in wealth.

When 925 people control more wealth than half a country’s population, we have a very serious problem.

That capitalism is trash. Capitalists are trash. It's always been trash. It will always be trash.

Remembering my favorite Biden quote: "Nothing will fundamentally change."

They can all eat a dick.
The next Dem administration may undo some Trump admin policy, but they will likely leave the worst stuff in place. What would give us any reason to believe Dems wouldn’t extend the massively increased ICE or military budget? Or revoke oil drilling permits? Or regulate big tech?

I would rather be dead than Israeli.
An Israeli soldier poses with an artillery shell in Gaza as a comment mocks Christmas by calling it a “gift” to Palestinians. Open celebration of killing, dehumanization, and genocide—shared without shame, accountability, or consequence.

Ha. America doesn't even make the top 20 for free speech. This country is a pathetic bougie joke. It can't collapse fast enough for me.

I'm pretty sure that when it comes to choosing between cheap/free labor and human rights, both sides will roll over for cheap prison labor in a heartbeat, just like the genocide.
These weren’t “criminals” in any meaningful sense.
Many were imprisoned for:
• “Vagrancy”
• Petty or fabricated charges
• Violating prohibition laws
• Being Black and available for labor
This was the convict‑lease system — slavery by another name. (cont)

I know which 10% I think should burn gently in hell for eternity.
"According to the Congressional Budget Office, a non-partisan agency, households in the bottom decile of income distribution will lose about $1,600 per year as a result of the law, while those in the top 10 per cent will see a $12,000 annual gain."

This is America. Most real solidarity is frowned upon. You are allowed to lean into your intersectional niche, but that's as deep as you can go. This, nothing is going to get better here for anyone except rich people. But, you know, shrink-wrapped compassion for 24hrs is nice.
