Yes. Look at him now! Unemployed like everyone else in America.

Don’t remember writing this at all. But fwiw, I actually have no idea if the stakes in the JC mayoral race are at all similar to NYC’s
Formerly disgraced NY governor is running for mayor and a formerly disgraced NJ mayor is running for governor. Apparently there are no rules at all levels of government.

I can’t find the original post, but someone said to start saving pdfs of TV’s articles. And thank god they reminded me because not only do I use them in my classes, but I also have a ton of research for my book from @kimkelly.bsky.social ‘s labor column

the Teen Vogue politics section's last newsy story 🥲 Rainesford knocked it out of the park
It feels a bit weird to post right now in light of what has happened to @teenvogue.com and so much of the incredible team there. What sources shared here is important, & I’m grateful I got to work on this. I reported on how young people are being impacted by delays to SNAP: “It’s about survival.”

What the actual fuck
I was laid off from Teen Vogue today along with multiple other staffers, and today is my last day.

certainly more to come from me when the dust has settled more, but to my knowledge, after today, there will be no politics staffers at Teen Vogue.

This happened in my hometown and I didn’t find out that part of the story until it started getting national attention
The New York Times doesn't tell you why the alleged murderer said he sent pizzas to the victim's house just before he ran down the girl and her best friend. He said on video that he was getting revenge for social media comments about death of Charlie Kirk.

NJ students in grades 6-12 will now learn about “the history of organized labor, notable strikes throughout history, unionization drives, and the collective bargaining process and existing legal protections in the workplace.”

This is genuinely so important, and so good to see. Jersey strong, baby!!
Proud to sign legislation today ensuring students understand the history of the labor movement and safeguarding the freedom of employees to make their own choices at work without coercion.

These bills reinforce our commitment to honoring the role of organized labor. www.nj.gov/governor/new...

I just think it’s cute to think about them cosplaying as normal people.
Taylor Swift is btw 35 years old and Travis Kelce is btw also 35 years old and of the two of them Travis Kelce is the only one to technically ever take a college level English class so idk what it says, other than a lot about society

I hate when politicians and pundits and academics with zero experience growing up working class or living a working class life talk authoritatively about the working class; leave us alone, this shit is hard enough without being tokenized or weaponized or studied like exotic zoo animals
