Seeing a common refrain that Hades 2 makes "bad" story choices at the end, but I feel like those choices permeate the whole thing.
The game is heavily carried by the familiar rhythm of the first game, but the lack of meaningful scaffolding means an act 1 problem manifests as an act 3 problem

I really hope that Erika Ishii gets their flowers for their performance as Atsu this year - it’s one of the very rare protagonists I keep playing the game just to see more of how they inhabit the world and unfold their story.

Honestly the best part of the movie was that it wasn't connected to any wider "Cinematic Universe"
Unfortunately that will no longer be true in a year or so but for now it was a nice to see a standalone cape film

At a showing for Friendship, apparently I'm the only one who bought a ticket because they started the movie for me half an hour early, no trailers beforehand or anything!
Until about 4 minutes later it was paused and put back at the beginning, and now I'm waiting again 😅
