Question for my American friends: What happened to the summer of protests? I thought it was a great start, but then...silence. The People power revolution in 1986 was super effective in getting rid of a dictator in the Philippines after less than a week of protest.

1/ In the "that's fucked up" category, my sweet little baby girl just texted me to let me know about an incident that happened to her in Arizona. Attending a bull riding event, she and another visible minority teammate, were shocked at how Trumpy it was.The audience was chanting build the wall.

Back on Canadian soil. The plane ride back was about 75 % full. Lots of snowbirds flying home as the age demographic was certainly more seniors. Last year, coming back was 100 % full. Don't know if there is any correlation to what's going on with the politics, but definitely a lot less Teslas 1/

Reporting to you live in Arizona, the Edmonton International Airport U.S departures was shockingly quiet. Got on the plane and turned to my wife and told her I don't think this is going to be full. She said there were only 5 seats left. By the time we departed, the plane was only at 1/3 capacity.
