If you consider yourself a socialist and you are not wholeheartedly supporting our current Labour government then you are condemning our country to the same debacle we are witnessing in the US. Get your head out of your arses and see the big picture before it’s too late!
FINAL WARNING! ⚠️

Love this!

Our government are, for the first time in 15 years, human.

They are like you and me.

They know how to talk to everyday people, including children.

And it's for all of us they are working to improve the country.

Any article based on unnamed sources isn't worth reading IMHO, if they're basing the article on something somebody has actuall said name that person, otherwise it's just tittle tattle and we don't know their agenda. Mich like Tufton Street grifters refusing to say who funds them.

Ive been labour all my life and despite the missteps i still think they are the best thing for britain. And i think Starmer is a good man. With the state the world is in, i couldnt picture another person dealing with it as he is on a global stage. Mcsweeney may need to go though as the comms are meh

I agree, I’m not a Labour member, but voted for them at the last couple of elections. I can’t help thinking this is such a right wing agenda by our press and it scares me - look at what’s happening in the US and that’s what will be coming here if we’re not taking notice.

Same, I don't remember a time when a Government had delivered or had in progress 58 manifesto pledges in just 18 months. Policies won't bear fruit in 5 minutes but will start closing the gap between rich and poor.

I agree with your overall sentiment, but it’s not my only reason. Every day Labour is making meaningful changes/policy that benefits the population. And before the whataboutery starts, this government picked up all the shit left by 14 years of right wing policy. Difficult choices had to be made.

I'm supportive of this govt because I'm a Labour member who believes in its aims & acknowledges its achievements, as well as its mistakes. I don't change my loyalties easily.
Plus it's the best option out there.

Increase in productivity since 1979: 87%

Increase in hourly pay since 1979: 32%

Just so happens that ~25% of workers were unionized in 1979. Today? 10%.

As unions declined, the super-rich have taken a larger share of wealth generated by labor. We must build back union power.

Danny Kruger on BBC QT:

“The problem Keir Starmer has is that he doesn’t stand for anything”

What??????

This, from an opportunistic grifter who jumped from the Tories to Deform UK.

Christ on a bike! Danny Kruger isn’t fit to lick Starmer’s boots!!!!

I am sure the last thing the EU wants is Farage in power. I’d like to think they’ll be upping the ante and starting to make things happen for Britain/Starmer. Maybe not being so firm just because they hold all the cards. I can but hope.

I honestly hope this is the last ever Budget. Going forward just announce changes as and when needed like everything else. We don’t need it all saved up. The world has changed. The media has become feral. No one can be trusted.

Starmer and Reeves have a 10 yr plan. I like their plan. I don’t expect it to materialise in 16 months. And I don’t expect it to be without its challenges. I also accept external factors will play a part. That’s why it’s a 10 year plan.

50+ manifesto pledges achieved/on course

It is not for the media to get rid of this Government.

It is for the people to vote them in again or out based on their 5 years in office.

As we do every election.

Usually confounding the media and the polllsters.
