The new Audi concept car looks very nice. Still no indicators, presumably. www.wired.com/story/aud…

Went to see Weapons last night. So refreshing to see someone thinking outside the box and doing something different. Unusually, I hadn’t seen any trailers and, if it’s not too late, I recommend you do the same.

Honestly, if someone is getting AI to write their wedding speech, you SHOULD NOT MARRY THEM. Get a ChatGPT subscription and a vibrator, it's going to be cheaper and a lot less disappointing in the long run.
Looking at how much AI has affected my wedding speech business. This time last year, the previous four weeks I’d earned £2000 through speeches. This year it’s £225.

Food’s overrated, anyway.

This is outstanding. God knows what Labour is doing: legitimising the racism that'll be its undoing, losing the coalition which put it in office, trying to secure voters who will never support it, digging its own moral grave.

Hello and welcome to another Sunday. I find myself emerging from another period of digital indecision, as I mess around trying to figure what apps I need to do what (and then inevitably end up writing whatever-it-is down on a piece of paper). I won't bore you with the ups

Current listening: Miles Davis, “55”. I don’t need to tell you how good this is.

Recently finished reading: Cloud Atlas by David Mitchell 📚, which is stupendously good. I still prefer Bone Clocks, but that may be because it was the first of his that I ahd read. I think if I had read Cloud Atlas when it came out, and known nothing about it, I would still be in recovery.

OK. So micro.blog seems to be a way to post and interact on Bluesky etc without being subjected to everyone else’s bastard opinions?! Essentially it allow me to scream out the window, which is what I would have been doing anyway.

Trying out the micro.blog service. Things might get a little weird for a while.

Reviews don't get better than "Forgot where I was while at the dentist"!
Regular reminder that The Lovecraft Investigations by @juliansimpson.bsky.social is just about one of the finest podcasts/audio dramas that there is.
Was at the dentist on Friday and listening to it in the chair (for third time) and actually forgot where I was for periods. It's just *that* good.

For future reference, this is the thing that finally made me delete the BBC News app. Despite the picture of Dover, this happened in France. And he didn’t see anyone pull a knife, he heard about it afterwards. From an Express hack. This is not journalism.
