Its barely even october yet and wawa already has the gobbler bowl out but my local wawa never has sweet potato. This is honestly better and cheaper.

More meal prep this is mustard glazed pork tenderloin. Maybe not the best thing to cook on a hot summer day.

If a president wanted to become effectively a dictator, he’d likely:

1. Purge govt of non loyalists
2. Weaponize law against opponents
3. Use military to police opposition strongholds
4. Threaten media, schools, businesses w penalties to get them to heel
5. Change election rules in his favor.

Question for any adults with #adhd is it normal for a doctor to require monthly visits if stimulants are prescribed? I get that its a controlled substance but its ridiculous to pay for a monthly specialist when theres not even a guarantee my meds will be in stock.

It's been a hectic month or 2 but I am finally getting around to sharing this! While it was not the timeline we had planned, it worked out to "elope" now to lock it in and worry about celebrating with family at a later time.
Got married to my partner Julian today! Introducing Julian Laresch as my husband (who cares about changing last names).

Air travel safety has been such an important issue lately, especially with Boeing quality control issues. But this is a problem of allowing greed to take precedence to safety concerns. It's only the beginning of a slippery slope that might end up causing more preventable accidents in air travel.
🚨BREAKING: Months before tonight's fatal DC plane crash, lawmakers brushed off dire safety warnings & passed an industry-backed bill adding more flight traffic at the airport.

"Increasing slots at this airport undermines safety," an opponent pleaded.
Before D.C. Airport Collision, Lawmakers Brushed Off Warnings And Boosted Flights
Despite midflight near-misses and dire pleas, airline-bankrolled lawmakers recently expanded flight traffic at Washington’s busy airport.

The American Dialect Society Word of the Year: RAWDOG

To rawdog: taking on life without the usual protection, preparation, or comfort. Whether it’s diving into a challenge unprepared or skipping the safety net, rawdogging is about embracing risk, stone-cold sobriety, and rolling with it. #LSA2025

My latest is a reflection on how people have responded to the killing of a health insurance CEO. "Rather than centering Thompson’s humanity, as scolding voices have demanded, they centered their own, and the humanity and suffering of others who were harmed by the insurance industry."
Insurance Denials, Chronic Pain, and a Nation’s Rage
One might call this development “a morbid symptom” of a late-stage sickness.
