Here’s a sketch of the newly described basal plioplatecarpine mosasaur, Oneirosaurus caballeroi, from the Coniacian beds of Lebrija, in Central Colombia. This sketch was made in honor and in memory of one of the authors of the paper, María Euridice Páramo Fonseca.

Tyrannosaurus "Wilson" figure from PNSO. Here it with a brand new base that includes a skull of a crocodylian (Borealosuchus) and other details. Also, for this figure it was made a repainting in the teeth, mouth and the dark stripes. I want to thank to Jorge Moreno Bernal for his work in this piece.

A reconstruction of Pitheculites chenche, a small marsupial from the Miocene of La Venta (Colombia). So far, only it has been found a piece of the lower jaw. Pitheculites belongs to the abderitids, close relatives of the shrew-possums (caenolestids). It has a large blade-like first molar.

Arsinoitherium was originally supposed to appear in King Kong (1933). I like to think that it still exists in the ‘33 version of Skull Island, even though it doesn’t appear outside of deleted scenes.

At this point the most interesting question regarding tyrannosaurid evolution that's yet to be answered is what the period in time between allosauroids and tyrannosaurids filling the apex predator niche was like. When did large-bodied, robust-skulled tyrannosauroids evolve?
