There were plenty of signs that it was an Energy Transfer front, but we'd have never known for sure if an ET exec didn't admit it under oath during a 2023 deposition. She estimated the company was spending $1MM+ per year.

As Energy Sec, Wright has published a report denying climate science (which EPA is using to axe climate regs), boosted fossil fuels, & slashed funding for renewables.
And Hamm’s ties to Wright? Tight. So tight he brought him to Trump’s now-infamous Mar-a-Lago oil exec dinner where Trump casually floated making Wright Energy Secretary. Here’s Hamm bragging about it at an industry conference:

Here's the short and sinister goal behind this dangerous & irresponsible chemical lobby legislation, in surprisingly simple language: "To amend the Clean Air Act to exclude certain units of facilities from the definition of solid waste incineration unit, and for other purposes." 1/

Translation: ...
The chemical lobby and some House Republicans want to exempt plastics incineration from the Clean Air Act—letting toxic air pollution that causes cancer, birth defects, brain damage and premature death to escape regulation.
