Just how morally, ethically, intellectually bankrupt do you have to be to argue that 15-year-olds can sell sex but can’t affirm gender

Nuzzi's fawning coverage of the sociopathic conspiracy crank she was having an affair with aided his rise to political power, which he is using to perpetrate the worst intentional public health catastrophe of our unnecessarily shortened lifetimes, and THAT is the STORY.

In 1882, a mysterious book appeared in London shops, advising that certain humans were actually dragons that had forgotten their heritage.

Here is that book, reprinted for the first time. Help me make this special edition a reality!

Writing again. Feeling the story bumping around in my brain, demanding to be heard. The community on Discord, having people join sprints and offer support. #weeknightwriters #firstdraftfall

I'm not sure I've advanced the story as much as I'd like. But what @aiko-aslanian.bsky.social said on Discord earlier today about a "complete draft" has stuck with me and I'm going to try loosening up my definition of progress, see if that helps move things along. #weeknightwriters #firstdraftfall
Q1: How are you feeling about your #FirstDraftFall progress so far? Excited? Disheartened? #WeeknightWriters

Hi #weeknightwriters! I'm Julia and my WIP is a weirdo magic anti-fascist revolution story. But I'll go with that for now. I've had a successful week. If I can write this many words in a week that's been awful on so many fronts, I should be able to write anywhere any time. #firstdraftfall

@nytimes.com May this question haunt you until your miltimillionaire owners join Cistercian monestaries to get the benefit of a vow of silence.
To recap: Jeffrey Epstein offered a NY Times reporter photos taken in Epstein's kitchen of Donald Trump and girls in bikinis *and* implored the NYT reporter to put this information in the public discourse in 2015

What did the NY Times editors know about this offer?
“would you like photos of donald and girls in bikinis in my kitchen?” -Jeffrey Epstein

listen, we've all had a lot of fun today learning that we truly are ruled by a pedophiliac cabal that permeates every level of big business and government, but also let's not take our eye off the fact that the senate Dems completely betrayed their base and must be primaried until they're all gone

It’s funny that Harvard has been a consistent target for reactionary campaigns, and not one has been dedicated to ousting Larry Summers, an openly political figure who was friends with Jeffrey Epstein; meanwhile, it’s a fine-toothed comb for *checks notes* Black women.

Important to understand the Epstein stuff and the fascism and the corruption are, in a lot of ways, really all the same story from different angles: powerful men who can and do abuse vulnerable people around them because they can, and because systems of elite accountability catastrophically failed

all of the calls for "moderating on trans issues" are just an excuse to launder the author's own bigotry into the political sphere

I will never forget the Toronto Blue Jays relief pitchers sharpie-ing Vesia’s number on their caps during games 6 and 7 of the World Series for as long as I live.

Just a simple act of love and solidarity and sportsmanship so desperately needed in these awful times. Class organization.
Dodgers reliever Alex Vesia and his wife Kayla announced that their newborn daughter, Sterling Sol, died on October 26th.

Please continue to keep this family in your thoughts. 💔

The joy of writing again. But also an unexpected character cropping up who’s going to fit a role I hadn’t cast yet. And I feel like I nailed his voice well from the start. #weeknightwriters

Descriptions! I’m bad at them, but they’re so necessary in this WIP to contrast between societies. Clothing definitely, room decor, all that. I can’t even get a picture in my head and I’m usually good at visualization. #weeknightwriters
Q2: Are you struggling with anything specific in your #FirstDraftFall project? Tell us about it and we’ll see how we can help! #WeeknightWriters

#weeknightwriters #firstdraftfall I'm really excited. I wasn't sure how things were going to go, since I'd been on the shelf for so long, but I've gotten off to just the start I was hoping for and well ahead of pace for my goal for the month.

I guess I should introduce my project too. This is a fantasy-bordering-on-science fantasy heist-resistance-uprising-against-fascist oppressors novel with a middle-aged heroine who gets her life back... the life she needed instead of the life she thought she wanted. #weeknightwriters

#weeknightwriters Hi there, I'm Julia. I've had the best writing week I've had in two months. Actually, writing anything at all would've been the best writing week I've had in two months. But I've managed over 5500 words this week, which is a great week by any of my standards!
#WeeknightWriters Hi, I'm Andy. My #FirstDraftFall project is "Escape From Crab Island", a prequel story in my Kestrel and Scar series of pirate adventures.

So far, I managed about 800 words. It's been a week.

The thing mainstream conservatism is trying to conserve is unassailable cultural, economic, and political supremacy for white landowning christian men. Its inevitable conclusions are subjugation, oppression, corruption, slavery, and genocide.

Throw every last one of the cowards in the street. Let's GO.
May this keep every establishment democrat up for a week. ESPECIALLY Schumer and Jeffries.
