The draft #EUCO Conlcusions do not include a roadmap for the future work on internal reforms, as #EU leaders had promised in June 2024.

All this shows that #EU & member states are not adequately responding to the "Test of Times" when it comes to enlargement & reform.

V good piece on the changed background (thanks to Trump) against which the UK & EU are trying to improve relations. Not everyone (on either side of the Channel) has woken up to the fact that the transatlantic relationship will be quite different in future, & Europe will have to be more self-reliant.
