Nato-jäsenyyden myötä Suomesta tuli Naton etulinjan maa. Tämän päivän tilaisuudessa keskusteltiin siitä, millainen rooli niillä on Naton kokonaispuolustuksessa.

Strategian ytimessä tulisi olla alueellisten "linnakkeiden" rakentaminen etulinjan maiden alueille kokonaisvaltaisen pelotteen luomiseksi.
