Pipe Aston, Herefordshire. Unusual font fashioned, in 1943, from a C12 cone (cross base?) found buried in a nearby field. Lovely (now upside down) carving. #FontsonFriday

#StainedGlassSunday - Beautiful windows by Tom Denny at Tewkesbury Abbey. They were made to commemorate the 900 years anniversary of the monks arrival at Tewkesbury. They are entitled "Work" and "Prayer" from the Benedictine motto "to work is to pray".
