that whole 'this country isn't ready for a woman president' line is really upsetting because it shows exactly how neoliberalism works, redirecting blame from issues of policy (or lack thereof) onto a flattened, vague type of sexism in a way that ultimately doesn't even challenge sexism!

i went on to try and get an assessment for adhd when i was in highschool and this quack psych told me i couldnt have adhd bc i was too smart and my issues in school were because of my terrible sleep schedule. but my terrible sleep schedule was because of adhd 😭
