Excellent news - and clearly the right decision.

Hopefully the government see sense and decide against appealing.

First Gorton and Denton. Then Wales.
Green-induced political earthquakes incoming.

@walesgreenparty.bsky.social

💚
Labour is briefing that they know they won't win the Gorton and Denton by election.

The Greens are favourites and are the only party that can stop Reform.

Lower bills, tax the rich, protect the NHS. We will win.

Said this to @ceritheviking.bsky.social earlier today. Worth repeating.

Burnham must be thanking the election gods on Labour’s NEC.

No way he would have won that seat after this.

Bullet dodged.

PM Rayner incoming…

Putting the numbers into @jaclarner.bsky.social’s Senedd election simulator, suggests the following potential Senedd composition:

Interestingly, these numbers put Plaid very close to majority govt or, more likely, a vaguely comfortable life as a minority administration? #senedd #devolution

Wow.

Well done all involved.

Looking forward to seeing @anthonyslaughter.bsky.social and many more in the Senedd very soon.

Great progress in new poll for Wales.

Absolutely no complacency though. We're campaigning for every vote between now and May 7th.

Wales needs rent controls, nationalised water and funded public services. To do that, Wales needs to vote Green.

Gary Neville saying it’s a mystery why Liverpool have dropped off.

Not a single mention of the fact they lost their best mate in the summer.

Yeah, a mystery.

Israel’s ban on 37 humanitarian organisations, including Doctors Without Borders, from entering Gaza is another war crime.

The Green Party condemns this decision and calls for immediate international action to protect humanitarian actors.

If only there were some way, mathematically, to defeat 33% of the population. Alas, it is impossible, and Labour have no choice but to acquiesce to their every demand and nevertheless accept their humiliating defeat as a fait accompli.
The far-right don’t need Labour to validate them.
If you think 33% or more of the population’s concerns about irregular immigration are irrelevant then you might think again. By focusing relentlessly on the negative we will reap the reward of a Farage government. And that would be 💩. For everyone.
