If only there were some way, mathematically, to defeat 33% of the population. Alas, it is impossible, and Labour have no choice but to acquiesce to their every demand and nevertheless accept their humiliating defeat as a fait accompli.
The far-right don’t need Labour to validate them.
If you think 33% or more of the population’s concerns about irregular immigration are irrelevant then you might think again. By focusing relentlessly on the negative we will reap the reward of a Farage government. And that would be 💩. For everyone.

The post-PMQs No 10 briefing was dominated by questions on Epstein without many answers. Starmer's spokesperson said Epstein's victims were “at the forefront of our minds”, but could not explain how that tallied with appointing a US ambassador they already knew was an Epstein confidant.

Universal Basic Income would improve mental health, reduce homelessness, reduce crime, and reduce drug and alcohol abuse. I'm not saying it would 100% fix all of these, but that it would significantly help with all of them as just one policy. UBI and universal healthcare are musts for our wellbeing.
I’m sitting on a panel across from someone who believes that people with mental health disorders should be imprisoned.

Unfortunately she’s not alone in that opinion. Donald Trump’s recent executive order on homelessness shows that he believes the same thing. It’s fucking abhorrent.

It’s something to behold how bad this Labour government is at politics.

Mandleson’s association with Epstein was well known and yet he was still appointed.

The story should be on Farage’s hypocrisy on tax - not Mandleson.

Another gift for Reform.

Unforgivable inaccuracy.

Judges always take off their ceremonial wigs when engaging in gavel-bashing.

This stuff is basic.

The artwork, which shows a judge hitting a protester with a gavel, was confirmed by the elusive street artist.

They brought their Monopoly-like Towards A UBI Society game, which gets a lot of love!

Behind every draconian decision, there's secret evidence ("detailed security assessments") we're not allowed to see. We should just suck it up and believe them.
Sorry, Yvette Cooper, that's not how democracy should work. When you make a decision of such consequence, we need to see the basis for it.
Yvette Cooper is asked about her decision to ban Palestine Action as a terrorist organisation and she claims she received detailed security assessments & advice & is in receipt of disturbing information that the rest of us don't know about
