Today was a lovely day for a drive. We went to Buc-ee's. If a gas station/convenience store and a W*lmart had a baby, it would be a Buc-ee's. Now I've been to one, and I don't ever need to go to Buc-ee's again.

And my boss agreed to backdate my start date, so I will get paid the salaried amount of about $175/day (after taxes etc.) for Oct. 29-31 instead of the lower "training" rate she originally offered for the 3 days I worked this week.
