This is a good thread about Kim Kardashian. Her chances of passing the bar were low considering how she got her legal training. Don't dunk on someone who is trying to do something good in the world.
Everyone is dunking on Kim Kardashian. The truth is the California bar is notoriously hard, the pass rate was only 55%, the pass rate for people who didn‘t go to an accredited law school is way lower, and lots of very smart and dedicated people don’t pass the first time and become good lawyers.

I haven't been much for the armchair quarterbacking when people say that Democrats can't negotiate, but this would be a cataclysmic failure on every level. The ACA will fail if the subsidies aren't extended, which means millions will lose their health insurance. It will give Trump a win when (1/2)
Dems backed Trump into a corner where he’s advocating for starving Americans and hemorrhaging support. If they vote to let him off the hook in exchange for nothing it’s a cataclysmic failure. I know people are in pain but insulating Republicans from political consequences is not the answer.

These guys are the biggest assholes. We will probably not get the full reckoning we want or deserve, but scrapping ICE altogether and firing every single one of these guys should be what we are aiming for.

These guys are the biggest assholes. We will probably not get the full reckoning we want or deserve, but scrapping ICE altogether and firing every single one of these guys should be what we are aiming for.
I know it is a small deal and I know it is not the most important thing, but can you even imagine if any previous president just up and decided to knock down the entire East Wing of the White House without (1) Congressional approval, (2) public funding to build the ballroom, . . .

Yeah, good luck with that. California relaxed the requirements a while ago and then got measles outbreaks. And then we tightened them back up because it turns out that failing to vaccinate your kids is a terrible, terrible idea.
