i fully endorse "followers only" bc if someone starts saying you turned off replies you can be fairly confident they cant read
Yes. This. Changing your replies to followers only makes a huge difference for larger accounts. The only "downside" is once a month or so someone who can't read/follow instructions yells "this fucker turned off comments!" at you. It's better than many more randos missing the point & yelling though.

There is SO much misinfo floating around Twitter re Bluesky, it’s even worse than this, I think a lot of Twitter users are afraid of Bluesky chipping away at Twitter more and more… really reinforced to me the feeling that Twitter users are suffering with sunk cost fallacy

I think a lot of Twitter users who are hesitant about coming to Bluesky will kick themselves over being “late to the party” in 2027 or 2028. I just think if Bluesky solves the creator issue (figure out how to get more artists & content creators on here) it will be a runaway effect

When ICE breaks the law and goes after people legally following the legal process, they don't show up. This judge warned that people could be deported if they don't show up, while ignoring that ICE is making a mockery of the courts and deporting people who are even there to be sworn in as citizens.
