And! I say its "near the bottom," but understand this:
Stranger Things as a show even at its lowest was always like... a 8 for me. So if ST5 is a 7 or a bit lower, that still saying something!

But I think the main take away with Stranger Things 5 is this:
It didn't ruin the rest of the show.
Game of Throne's final season (or 2) tarnished a show I really enjoyed.

I will have ot give Stranger Things 5 a rewatch down to line to really solidify this but:
Critically, the season is probably near the bottom? Despite some really good character moments its just "pretty ok"
Lore and mystery nerds will probably have lots of unanswered questions too.

Yes, they're in a hurry. But at this point Max knows it's not the song thats the gate... it's Lucas.

Made the mistake of reading some Stranger Things subreddits and nearly everyone is convinced the finale is going to be another GoT situation.
ST finales are always awesome! But I do admit I'm worried it'll be a disappointing end. Will they have time to wrap everything up in a satisfying way?
