It's not a bad idea to go to the local Walmart or big box retailer and buy lots of consumables now. From toothpaste to soap, anything you can find storage space for, buy before they have to replenish inventory.
Even if it's made in the USA , they will jack up the price and blame it on tariffs.

Getting rid of Meta, Twitter, Amazon, and now (slowly) Google has helped me completely rediscover the internet that I once loved. Bespoke RSS feed reader apps crafted with quality design, email providers that have a net positive carbon footprint, quality-sourced products for purchase. I'm happy!

The courts really aren't going to save us. I'm really sorry you break it to you. Only popular action in the streets have a chance to stop this coup. You need to sway enough Republicans in vulnerable districts. This could be done, with a big enough response. The spark must be lit, somehow.

It's frustrating the amount of texts I've received from friends and family that have said, "Oh my gosh, I feel lied to. I didn't realize this was all going to happen!"

I’m going to put my rich guy hat on and say I hope that Mexico and Canada issue equal, retaliatory tariffs and stick to them for an extended period.
