im realizing that bg3 set a strange precedent in rpgs where there's now a lot more games coming out with content that should have just been in the basegame as rolling dripfeed style updates

kingmaker fumbled the bag so hard in the last act i gotta be honest. i think story wise it's awesome but ive never seen a more anti player setup in any rpg. it's not a fun high end fight it's a slog that requires luck and insane meta knowledge minmaxxing.
