We had to say goodbye our little bundle of joy on Friday. Lucy was the kindest and gentlest soul that ever walked this earth. She was our baby, our work buddy, our playmate, our reluctant travel companion, and both our bedtime and wake up alarm. She was super shy, but quickly won over everyone.

Brown’s campus is a sacred place for me, especially the science quad. It maddens and saddens me that this happened at a safe place of learning. I hate that the students will now live with this trauma
