Proud Kentuckian, fervent leftie, Xennial raising 2 girls with less rights than I grew up with and mad about it.
Headed to an ICE protest in Lexington Kentucky tomorrow. Minneapolis is inspiring me. Who else is going to show up somewhere to share mutual frustration with this unending fuckery?

Smartwool socks are the best socks. If you disagree, please tell me what's better. The only problem is that they are $28/ pair. Whaaa? So I have 1 or 2 that I received as gifts. On the up side, it makes me excited on laundry day that they're back in rotation.

Walz: "I couldn't help but think, and it scares me a bit -- 'The party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most important directive.' It certainly feels like that in this moment."

This time, the revolution WILL be televised. Just not on main stream media. The question is the same though: the revolution will not happen with you on the couch. It will be televised. You need to be in the crowd, not watching it. youtu.be/vwSRqaZGsPw?... Call your reps. Every day. They're close.

This is the moment that Trump became irrelevant. This is not him or his decision. This is the moment that the unelected zealots around him asserted control of our nation and are attempting to change the world order. Are we going to let them?

We must reframe "unitary executive theory" as pro-corruption in plain English in order to communicate it clearly. They want to remove checks to the executives power, which will 100% of the time, regardless of who is president, make them infinitely more vulnerable to corruption. Period.
The justices’ convergence around Trump’s unexplained dismissals at “independent agencies," only exposed the reservations, confusion, and differences across the conservative bloc, potentially heralding regulatory gridlock in years ahead—perhaps even this term. trib.al/oEFbq2e
The Right-Wing Justices Know Their Favorite Legal Theory Is Bunk
Now that the Supreme Court’s conservative bloc is putting the unitary executive theory to the test, its cracks are beginning to show—and its proponents are flailing.

Hot take: take care of your feet and toenails or wear socks and shoes. This is one of my opinions that makes me an old lady. But it's the social contract. If I have to see your toes, they should be well cared for. Unless it is literally impossible for you.

Facebook marketplace (the only way I use Facebook) desperately needs a "already bought" button. The last thing I need is 100 laptops in my feed after I just bought one. What if I see a better deal? And then I have to just sit with that? Ugh.

Hot take: I love the lack of edit on bluesky posts. Levels the playing field. No polished focus group or AI nonsense. We're humans and we make mistakes. No use in pretending. We're going to need real humans, mistakes and all, to fight this.

I'm genuinely going to miss this silly, brightly lit tree covered in old joyful memories when I have to take it down. It's so bright! It feels like it symbolizes loud hope in spite of *waves hands around*.

Let's get some folks looking to buy a home on TV. Are they struggling to find a home because they are being outbid by foreign sounding individuals? Or, are they being outbid by all cash offers from LLCs? I think I know the answer.

Dear people overseas: what is it like to not have pharmaceutical companies constantly marketing to you? It's fucking surreal over here. 90% of the ads I see are for drugs for ailments I dont have.

Watching the Puff Daddy documentary on Netflix. Starting to think dudes who don't drink or experiment with drugs are straight evil. Commission a study. There's a correlation there.
