According to some people (mostly those funded by big oil, or fans of those funded by big oil) climate change is a ‘con’.

Science says otherwise…

How are hotter☀️ European summers affecting migratory birds?
Research by BTO & @Durham.ac.uk suggests that many birds are struggling to adapt to the effects of climate change.

The new RBBP report shows that some northern species are struggling. Numbers of Slavonian Grebes fell to just 16 pairs in 2023, the lowest total we have ever reported. There were only six pairs of Redwings, and no breeding Fieldfares at all. Read more at rbbp.org.uk/2023-report-... #UKbirding

A few of these have been springing up in the garden just lately.
They’re Field Blewit mushrooms. 🍄‍🟫 Had some in last night’s dinner, and I’m still here, so all is good!

Is the problem with modern politics that voters are stupid, or is it that no one pushes back against the populist sideshow acts that mislead them? And is it wrong to think the government should act?

Brilliant piece debunking the nonsense claim in the Daily Telegraph. But it’s dangerous nonsense, polarising attitudes & whipping up prejudice.

The DTelegraph is such a shit newspaper. Oh, and the photo? Staged - captive eagle, already-dead lamb.

Watching Trump deliver his ‘speech’ at the UN in New York is quite something. Something utterly nuts, that is.
Immigration and anti-green policies take the lead, delivered in a manner that Colin Robinson would be proud of.
