I'm convinced now more than ever that the two party system in the United States is failing us. While the Republicans are clearly the party of the oligarchs, Democrats have largely ignored rural america. A lot of red States aren't actually red, they're just uncontested.

Is this the new solution to food shortages? Grow/make your own? We don't all have the space or time to farm. And even if we did, is the federal government going to abandon us like it did the actual farmers?
So, Trump’s Secretary of Agriculture says if you don’t like the high price of eggs you should buy some chickens and raise them in your own backyard.
