Anyone can decorate a tree if they want to but I can totally understand why people would rather not.

I used to do the mental gymnastics necessary to believe that God is love and yet is also fully justified in tormenting people for eternity who had never read the Bible. Indoctrination and religious trauma will do that to you.

I remember what it was like to be fully convinced that I had the one true message of Love and Hope and that if I did not go and tell them this "good" news, God was going to let people on the other side of the world who never had never heard of him just die and go to hell.

I know, some of you are going to hate me now. You're going to come after me in the comments and tell me how wrong I am. But I too was once indoctrinated into white evangelicalism.

I mean, think about the hubris and sense of superiority it takes to travel overseas and tell people you just met that their traditional spirituality is evil and they will go to hell for believing in the wrong god.

Classic narcissist. Accuse others of doing what he himself is doing, being childish in this case.

Trump campaigned like a populist. Which shows that a true populist movement would gain a lot of support from voters. But once in office he showed his true colors by cozying up to his billionaire buddies.

Neither party has done anything to support working Americans in decades.
