Pen name. Querying “Lament of the Black Sparrow — A Wayfinders Story.” It’s a heisty dark fantasy Western. If that doesn’t make you run screaming, consider repping me.

Opinions my own. #AmWriting through hellscape.

Never forget that Star Wars begins with an info dump then jumps to action in medias res for what’s effectively a prologue.

Write it however you want. Just do it well. #Skywriters.

Remember: If we allow ourselves to fall into fatalism, or wallow in disappointment, or become resigned to what is rather than what should be, we will lose the long game.

The greatest enemy of positive social change is cynicism about what can be changed.

If I eat a block of cheese and an entire box of wheat thins every time I edit a chapter, someone is going to publish this WIP posthumously

Welp
A winning party will have room for candidates that excite (like Mamdani) and defy gravity (like Golden).

We’re doing this backwards and in heels thanks to redistricting, algorithmic bias, and our reluctance to cheat (a good thing). All hands in, or we lose. Period.

My congratulations to all Baseball Perverts. It was their "super bowl" last night and it seems they all had a very bad time (in their culture that's how you have a good time)

Resharing since we’re all beating up on Ezra Klein today. His latest piece misses plenty, but he’s asking the right question.

What is the winning coalition that gets us reliably to 51 percent? If you can’t — with NUMBERS not vibes — get there with your cool platform, then you need to make room.
Skimming post-election autopsies, all variations on “first, we need to organize. Second, it’s time to dig in.”

What’s the win number. What is the voter coalition to get there. What do they want, and who is the right standard-bearer.

Everything else is cope, or a plea for the profitable status quo

For the uninitiated, Webster ain’t Chelsea or Manhattan. It ain’t even Albany or Syracuse.

Historically republican, maybe trending independent.

Rewatch continues. S2 “Omega Red” arc hits harder now…

DNC probably should have paid to rerun that on Twitch instead of reading talking points while playing Mario Kart
“Enjoying” (it’s terrible) my X-men rewatch, but how did this cartoon launch a generation of Wolverine Stans?

Nevermind he’s insufferable… bro doesn’t land a punch this whole season.

I know adamantium claw attacks wouldn’t make it past the censors, but dude goes down more than a bond henchman.

Convinced autocomplete is a diabolical plot to harm the ADHD community.

I did not need help completing that sentence, but I’m ABSOLUTELY on a brain tangent about what the words you suggested might have meant.

Gosh if only there was an alleged first amendment champion with experience being fired from ABSee who could extend his take to a conservative audience. Not sure who that might be tho.

Got within sight of the editing finish line and the day job side-swiped me for about 3 weeks. Trying to breathe through it and not get discouraged but… man.

Irony is that the writing gets sharper as I get more burned out at the other thing.

Please don’t send the second text. I’d never know if I wasn’t “successfully unsubscribed” anyhow.

But congrats, person I’ve never heard of, on launching your campaign in that R+25 seat I guess.
