Liberal St. Louis guy who likes to build stuff. Filmmaker. Media maker. Photographer. Big time pizza enthusiast.

Do. Not. Comply. With. Fascism.
Not claiming to be a master negotiator, but if you just flattened your opposition, maybe don’t reopen the government after six weeks of misery with absolutely nothing to show for it. That’s um, actually the opposite of a power move, mmkay?

“If I cared about being elected my first priority would definitely be building a huge ballroom for myself while I publicly starved people. It’s just smart politics.”

I don’t think I will stop thinking about the movie Weapons for a very long time. Wow. Deliciously masterful storytelling.

Love and strength to all the St. Louis parents who have to hear the same trick or treat Halloween jokes over and over and over and over again tomorrow.

We almost literally have the government from Idiocracy with the moral compass of Goodfellas who could practically back a semi truck trailer up to the treasury and start loading money into it while pissing on the constitution and the media would be like “steal it harder, daddy!”

Sunday President diarrheas on the country, Monday President bulldozes White House, Tuesday President steals $230 million, Wednesday President... fucks a horse? Let's see if he fucks a horse.

It was horrible enough during term one to just imagine all of the damage Trump was doing but it’s pretty next-level to see the White House being overtaken and assimilated by the Liberace inspired Borg.

Best rainy day I’ve seen in St. Louis in years.

notice the general mood of the timeline? how everyone is in a good mood and there’s a lot less misery and dooming? how there’s a lot of “we’re going to beat these assholes”?

anyway that’s why these events are important

Head to a protest today. I can almost promise you will feel less hopeless. That's exactly what they don't want. There are more of us than there are of them.

Being scared of consequences should come back in style some day.

I do love my neighborhood, though.

Vance is the worst of the worst Edge Lords so of course he thinks this is nothing.
Vance on public outrage over the "I love Hitler" group chat: "Grow up! Focus on the real issues. Don't focus on what kids say in group chats... The reality is that kids do stupid things, especially young boys — they tell edgy, offensive jokes. That's what kids do."

Once again, we should've never backed off the weirdness train. And a good way to keep winning is to make all of these fascists feel weird by confronting them with weirdness that shows how weird they are. Portland gets this. Everyone else needs to catch up.

I think it’s long overdue that we become peacefully ungovernable until the madness ends.

Do absolutely nothing that benefits this regime until it falls.

Because it will.

I was only out of the country for like 6 days but it really seems like things have grown exponentially worse here in less than a week, which is impressive because they were already pretty shitty.

It seems like trying to start a dictatorship but not paying anyone is probably not gonna work out in the long run but what do I know.

My feed is basically a jarring mix of fascist assholes beating protestors, landscape photography, and baseball and football updates

Went to get double vaxxed for Influenza and COVID-19 and the pharmacist asked what preexisting conditions I had.

“Hatred of people with brain worms making our health decisions.”

She smiled and checked immunocompromised.

I can be a pretty award winning pessimist but I’m actually surprised how much I underestimated how shitty things would be less than a year into this administration.

📌I am going to put this nicely: Democrats continuing to foist Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries on us as "leaders" during these terrifying times that demand strength, bravery, and resolve is really, really fucking insulting.
