Can’t take a compliment.
Letterboxd needs a third viewing status. “First time watch”, “Seen this before” but also “Gave up halfway through”.

The 80s gave us some insanely kooky cartoons. Turbo Teen may be the most unhinged of them all. #TFNPS

Well hello again, single moustache hair that has decided to grow upward and curl into my left nostril.

After watching The Substance, I have to say that it lacked… substance.

Has anyone used that yet? Am I clever?

the thing is if you have a six hour day for eight hours pay & full employment you now have time to enjoy walking your dog. to cook yourself something at leisure. to enjoy taking care of your dwelling. the answer isn't magic robots. it's unions, it's workers getting the means of production

OH NO! Shutting down Family Channel!
I hope YTV and Teletoon survive. :( Stupid Corus Entertainment. Stupid Canadian oligopolies.

Board the plane. Sit in my seat. Look frantically through my carry-on luggage. Check my pockets in desperation.

“What’s that? There’s trouble!” I exclaim at the sound of a car alarm. The neighbours rush out of their homes to lend help, I alert the police, and another day is saved.
Thank you car alarms!

Remember Ghostbusters? No, not the good one based on the movie. The silly one with a gorilla.
That’s the one #TFNPS reviewed.

The Naked Gun is a funny movie that doesn’t take itself seriously and clocks in under 90 minutes.
More of this, please.

K and I watched the two part pilot of Miami Vice and loved it. Superb writing and directing, perfectly clichéd acting, and the fashion… oh the fashion!
This show was a justifiable hit four decades ago, but still deserves a rewatch in 2025.

I saw Rogue One the day after Carrie Fisher passed. Seeing her younger self on screen (as janky as the CGI was) brought the entire audience to applause.
Got me thinking.. What's the strongest reaction you've seen an audience member have to a scene in a cinema?

During the birthday party scene in SIGNS I saw a whole row of young women literally throw their popcorn in the air like a cartoon.
Someone in my audience had a very audible negative reaction to the dog scene in TOGETHER. So that was fun!
