For as much fun as I've had dipping my toes into #AnimalCrossing: New Horizons for the first time, it strikes me as strange that they flaunted 12-player multiplayer in the Switch 2 version only to leave the clumsy networking system that way. Local multiplayer desperately needs an upgrade, too. #ACNH

There is power in a symbolic reboot. There was a lot of stink associated with "Overwatch 2," much of it justifiable. Getting rid of that name goes a long way toward getting rid of the baggage associated with it.

One of my villagers in Animal Crossing told me they want to leave after I’ve been nothing but nice and accommodating and I think I’m going to make 12 tiki torches and a port-o-potty to corral them into loving Sour Wind again.

Additional thoughts: While I compared the open world of #Nioh3 to Rise of the Ronin, and was annoyed with how it affected main quest pacing, I think it's better than Ronin. You cross a hillside and whoops, there's a monster the size of a house. The mythological element serves its setting so well.

Additional thoughts: While I compared the open world of #Nioh3 to Rise of the Ronin, and was annoyed with how it affected main quest pacing, I think it's better than Ronin. You cross a hillside and whoops, there's a monster the size of a house. The mythological element serves its setting so well.

Yes please. Xenogears is one of the few older RPGs I truly want to see remade someday, mostly because it was an unfinished product, but also because stylish martial arts and mecha fighting against authority and fate would be fantastic right about now. Great piece by @hokutolucas.bsky.social
