Since I don't sub to Spot, what I'm going to do is start using the app to listen to podcasts, and use up their bandwidth. I'll try to skip ads.

Wow. I never liked the New Atheists, once I saw some videos. I'd been an atheist since my mid 20s, and found them repellent and mean.
I began to thought New Atheism was terrible because it cheerled wars, denigrated whole populations of Muslims, and spearheaded transphobia, but turned out it was also best mates with Jeffrey Epstein.

A Fullerton police officer told the agent he couldn't help 'with someone following or recording him if no crime had occurred.' Under state law, local police cannot enforce federal immigration law.

If Black people can't be racist, because Black people lack the power of white people, then Asian people can't be racist, for the same reason...

...yet, these groups accuse each other of racism against each other.

I was talking with a friend about patriarchy, and we were following a logic, and he was trying to say competitiveness or seeking rank as a patriarchal quality. I couldn't agree. I thought "maybe".

This had a tinge of "matriarchy"... but I don't think matriarchy exists.

I get the feeling there are people on the left who equate liberalism only with capitalism, while ignoring that it means more than that. It includes social liberalism, and a general rationalist outlook.

My pop was a hoarder. After he passed, I had to clean out. Craigslist "free" saved me from hauling hundreds of pounds of stuff. I just dragged things out, and listed. People would come to the door or driveway and take it.

The saddest thing about Charlie Kirk was that he was in his 30s, and a racist.

He's a reminder of how far we haven't moved forward. The shit he was saying was shit racists were saying in the 1980s.

Where the fuck is the "progress" if we keep producing a fresh batch of bigots every year?
