My first contact w/ David Lynch was, like many, Twin Peaks. We had to wait months to watch it; there was only one set of VHS tapes at the local Hollywood Video. The tapes were so used we had to turn the volume all the way and adjust tracking constantly. Constant hum/hiss. Loved it. RIP David.
