I do not want pictures of trump in bikinis if the girls were also wearing them

This moment being that traitors has finished.
The Trump Administration is now pushing Brits to watch GB News instead of the BBC. The Far Right are trying to seize this moment of chaos in British media.

Hey people on the Internet. There's this neat trick you can do. Be a consumer of politics rather than an imaginary political leader. It's really liberating to just say 'I'm not buying that' rather than like 'here is a fully thought out riposte'.

People are shitting on this, but give it a week and that'll be exactly what it wants.

Actually, 'Don't know' is Britain's top choice. Which, given it's a poll of PMs I think probably should be counted as an affirmative vote.
On the centenary of her birth, Margaret Thatcher is Britons' top choice for best PM of the last 50 years

Margaret Thatcher: 29%
Tony Blair: 12%
Harold Wilson: 6%
Boris Johnson: 4%
Gordon Brown: 3%
David Cameron: 3%
John Major: 2%

If taxation is theft, and the borders need to be tight. Aren't they always hostages?

When you think about it, Simon & Garfunkel really started the true crime podcast thing off in 1969

counterpoint, this is the usual flight route around Europe to avoid being arrested for war crimes.
cnn.com CNN @cnn.com · Sep 25
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s flight to the US took a circuitous route in an apparent effort to avoid countries that could enforce an outstanding arrest warrant against him for alleged war crimes.

I'm like a professional pessmist, so I'm kind of tickled by the fact someone just agreed to buy almost all my wife's paintings 9 days before a big show that she's paid upfront to be at.

I bet the guy who invented jogging bottoms is feeling pretty relieved. Must've thought it was all over when shorts came out.

How come all the military stuff is still always iron something?
Iron cross-okay, but we have better crosses.
Iron curtain - barely makes figurative sense.
Iron laser - oh come on!

Jokes on you. I only eat Sardinian food anyway!

(Low key have wanted to go to this one restaurant in Sardinia since I saw it on a food show once 20years ago that was probably filmed before i was born)
For the rest of your life, you can only eat food from one of these regions. Which do you choose?

This story contains the most German quote I've ever heard. (expressing how hard German engineers worked to urgently repair a Patriot system)
"they worked Monday to Saturday, 16 hours a day"

I cannot stress this enough, Eva Longoria's character in particular is in an abusive relationship with a stockbroker and they're making a huge deal of having like a $20k necklace. John Hamm is a stockbroker who steals $200k watches people forget they own.
If you want a fun sign of the times, watch that awful Jon Hamm show, and then watch the original desperate housewives. Like they have a kind of similar premise, but the difference in wealth and detachment is staggering.

It's not important, but my understanding of American politics is such that I understand this skeet, but it implies there are also dog senators in Montana....I assume there aren't
Today on Volts: Montana has suffered from a severe housing crisis. In response, over the last two sessions, the legislature passed a series of sweeping housing reforms, everything from legalizing ADUs and duplexes to getting rid of parking mandates. How did they do it? I talk with two leg leaders.
A closer look at Montana's housing "miracle"
Two Montana senators explain how they made housing reform work across party lines.

Okay, hear me out. An unapologetically AI political party. Just read from a laptop at debates and stuff. It would just genuinely be interesting to see how our politics would react and how it would probably highlight AI's flaws.
