Oh exactly, in the sense that an abstract approach is great for painting or a freestyle approach is fine to jazz (or swimming for reasons I'm not clear on).

Appart from all the other ways this is crazy. If it could somehow do that, why would it only do it after people have committed crimes and not all the time?

I want to agree, but OTOH my entire family has been trying to get my sister to leave her partner for like 20 years because he insists on always cooking and he is really really really bad.

sort of, but firstly, I'd argue it's the advertising, social media is the...medium. But also, it turns into a real thing where having the same lifestyle costs more, even if like-for-like goods cost less.

I mean, buying a filter coffee out is getting harder as premium coffee places expand, and they lower their prices overall, that stops it showing up in averages, but the only people who have their regular coffee get cheaper are those who could already afford premium before.

Oh yea, so I'm saying the reason people feel poorer/less equal is because advertising spending has risen 3x faster than consumption. (Not to mention new methods and the quasi/free advertising on social media) And got more efficient. People are buying more, but missing out on even more.

And some of that pressure is real world stuff too. Like you need a phone with a data plan for everyday stuff now. And there's a premiumisation I think, for eg, you now have to put more effort in to find a cheap filter coffee than a frappe for lots of people in every day life.

My hunch is that the societal pressure to consume more has gone up a lot. Advertising has revolutionised in our generation. And while smartphones are a drag on inflation, they've moved from a luxury to almost a necessity.

The irony is that self evidently the answer is yes, if as a commentator you're versed in school policy in one state as well as their broader national agenda.

I particularly love how desperate they always are for the entire left to be blindly following a leader, so they say about a different person every six weeks, which somewhat undermines the point.

I mean...okay, sure, if you're drunk in a Croatian tattoo parlour that just openly does Nazi tattoos, you might not have realized at the time. But as a man with suspect tattoos, I'd say being in that situation is strike one against public office, strike two would be never googling your own tattoo.
