You should never be venmoing people for anything less than $20. If you bought someone a beer, they owe you a beer, they don't owe you money, or you just like them enough to give them a beer
Do you have any extremely niche, but serious, ethical stances?

I wrote about Ta-Nehisi Coates and Ezra Klein, why swallowing live frogs is a bad idea, and how context and history can release you from bright-kid syndrome, the illusion that you yourself are going to have every answer or fix the world.
You don't have to swallow frogs
Klein and Coates show that if you don't know what your core beliefs are, you're going to get played.

It would be more honest if more people would say "I am doing OK amidst the horrors being suffered by others." It's actually not true that everything is terrible for everyone right now. We're living under unequally distributed fascism.

For this window between Francis’s death and the white smoke at the end of the conclave, I believe the chicken restaurant should rename themselves POPENO instead of POPEYES

I’ve seen some good Wolves chatter on this website but everyone seems afraid to speak the obvious truth we saw last night: This team will never lose again.

I’m at the wolves-nets game and this sequence from Etienne was hilarious. He’s in this play-by-play five times and they’re all bad

My PRIOR favorite fact about Cub Foods is that the name is for Consumers United for Buying. My NEW favorite fact about Cub is that they were playing Christmas music on April 1. (Lake and Minnehaha location)

Issue by issue, Republicans hold broadly detested positions on almost everything. And yet Democrats are sinking in popularity because they continue to signal that they're willing to bargain away anything resembling a core belief in pursuit of majorities that are capable of doing absolutely nothing

I legitimately am having trouble imagining how a parody would differ from this
Musk: I should say we will make mistakes. We won't be perfect. But when we make a mistake we'll fix it quickly. So for example with USAID, one of the things we accidentally canceled briefly was Ebola prevention.
