I got back to my office after the vote last night and recorded this. There's no way to sugarcoat what happened. And my fear is that Trump gets stronger, not weaker, because of this acquiescence. I'm angry - like you. But I choose to keep fighting.

Living with Long COVID often feels like living in a horror movie. Along with your disease comes a creepy Hive Mind refusal to acknowledge the dangers of COVID infection. In Vince Gilligan's new Apple TV show Pluribus, the Hive Mind comes to life:

"Pluribus" captures the isolation of COVID-awareness in a COVID denialist world
For years I've described having Long COVID as living in a horror movie. Now that horror movie (well, prestige Apple TV show) is here.

5 years ago in sept '20 I got together with 2 bandmates and recorded this cover for a Wilco tribute to support Chicago music clubs. We stayed masked except if singing and kept pretty far apart. Very few takes, mostly live. Despite being recorded in a concrete basement it still sounds good.

Kyle Kingsbury is not a journalist. He is not an op-ed writer.

He is a computer safety researcher.

And he has written one of the most compelling, comprehensive accounts of the ongoing hell in Chicago that you could possibly imagine.

In under 1600 words.

Simple joys. We have always hoped that some of Gus’s hair would end up in a bird’s nest. He’s just so fluffy… Yesterday we found one on ln the ground made with what looks like a clump of his fur. I hope it helped keep the little chicks comfy & warm. #rescuedogs #dogsofbluesky

When EZ pass was rolled out, some wanted to use it to give speeding tix. Smart folks new no one would use it if that happened. When corps share data w/ice, no one will use those things.
