This movie… I watched it on HBO (or “Home Box Office”) while latchkey-ing it alone at my older sister’s place in prob summer of 81 or 82. I would have been 11 or 12. I tuned in bc of my crush on Scott Baio (yikes) & got a darker experience than I bargained for. Classic GenX childhood memory.
Just watched Foxes (1980)… I’d never even heard of this one, but it was solid. A serious drama about Jodie and her teenage friends, navigating the shady world of Van Nuys in the late 70’s. Jodie’s whole “wise before her years” thing serves her well here. A good looking movie, with fun characters.
